AEMCA Review
Our comprehensive preparation sessions for the MOH Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA) exams are provided by current and former PCPs and ACPS. Mock exams are provided with question-by-question discussion ensuring candidates are thoroughly prepared for provincial exams with a focus on critical thinking and practical skills. A foundational course for individuals looking to enter the field of emergency services, focusing on developing the skills necessary to provide immediate care in crisis situations.

Advanced ECG & STEMI Protocols
In-depth training in electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation, with an emphasis on advanced skills in the recognition of various conditions and pathologies and ST and non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI). The session will involve speakers discussing their local strategies from other Provinces, and the United States.

ACLS Courses
Our Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses designed for healthcare professionals who directly participate in the management of cardiac arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Our courses are taught by certified instructors offering certification as per the Heart and Stroke Foundation using current ILCOR guidelines.

First Aid/CPR/AED
Essential training for first responders and the general public on how to provide first aid, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) during emergency situations. Our instructors are all current or former paramedics with real world experience, and courses are taught using the most current best practices and ILCOR guidelines.

Paramedic Lecture Series
With a focus on nursing and paramedic education, AEGIS is proud to provide our Clinical Education Series, which will focus on key topic relevant to the various and evolving roles paramedics play. This includes traditional first response roles, clinical and community paramedic roles and specialty flight, marine, tactical roles. It also includes an introduction to overseas and remote/isolated roles and the wide world of travel medicine.
